One exercise that has proven to yield good results is: 1 * 4 * 2
Inhale in proportion to 1, hold your breath in proportion to 4 and exhale in proportion to 2. Repeat this 10 times each morning and night. For example, inhaling 4 seconds, hold your breath 16 seconds and then exhale 8 seconds. This way you oxygenate yourself efficiently and can be more focused and concentrated on what you do. If you would like to, and if it feels good, you could cover one of your nostrils at a time doing this exercise.
